Kotlov\u00e1 ocel se i dnes pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1, a to nejen pro parn\u00ed kotle lokomotiv, ale i pro parn\u00ed turb\u00edny, leteck\u00fd a automobilov\u00fd pr\u016fmysl (konstrukce motor\u016f) a tak\u00e9 pro tlakov\u00e9 n\u00e1doby a kompresory.
